Great question! Your company-replicated website was designed to provide a great shopping experience for your customers. What it doesn't do is tell us more about you! It's a cookie-cutter site. And, your customers want to know more about YOU. Plus, your own site invites them to join your email list, contact you directly and see what you are all about!
Q: Can I use my own website domain name?
Yup! You can use a link like ohmyhi.com/yourlink if you don't have your own domain name -- or, if you do, we will help you connect it! Easy peasy!
Q: I'm not a techy. What do I have to know to launch?
We have made it as easy as possible for you! What you will need to do is gather images in the correct sizes. We give you Canva templates to make this easy. You'll also need to write a little more about yourself, your biz and your products to personalize it to you. We have step-by-step tutorials to support you. And, are happy to answer any questions if you get stuck!
Q: Can I connect my Instagram feed?
Yassss!! We love this feature. You can connect your Instagram feed so it displays in real time at the bottom of the page! So fun!
Q: How do I use Oh My, Hi to build my email list?
We are a big fan of building an email list over here! You'll need an email service provider to embed an email opt-in form. We love Convertkit and they have a free plan if you're just getting started! When customers visit your website, they can add their name and email to the form and be automatically added to your email list. Easy peasy!
Q: What links can I add to the top of my Oh, My Hi site?
We suggest including links to your social media channels and your company-replicated shopping site. If you carry inventory, you can also include a link to shop your inventory, as well. These links are 100% customizable so if you want to take your followers elsewhere, you can do that, too!
Q: How much can I customize the website?
You have total flexibility to change the colors, text, links and images. That said, to keep it simple, it is a template website so you cannot change the layout of the page or rearrange the page or insert new sections. Over on the blog pages, you can add images, videos and text in any order you would like.
Q: How will blogging help my direct sales biz?
Blogging is a great way to share more information about your direct sales business! You can highlight your favorite products, share your story and announce events or promotions. Each blog post will have a unique link so you can share that content via social media, text or email with your followers. The more content you create on the blog, the more likely you'll begin ranking in search results. (Pssst... we love this the most! Unlike social media, when you share content online it gains visibility over time. On social media, it often only shows up for the first 24-48 hours then is "old news"!)

Over on Instagram, you can only share one link in your bio. With the links page feature, you can centralize all your links in one spot. This is a great way to easily share your shopping link and social links!
Q: How long does it take to set up?
The hardest part for most people is finding the images you want to use and writing up the content for the website. After you have that ready to go, you can easily get your site up and running in less than an hour!
