How to Create a Page with OHMi Using Claude or ChatGPT

Introduction

Now that your AI is connected to your Oh My Hi site, you’re ready to start building pages. One of the simplest pages to start with is your About Me page. In this tutorial, you’ll prepare your images, give your AI a simple prompt, and review the draft page it creates for you.

📌 Before you start: Make sure the images you want on your page are already uploaded to your Oh My Hi Media Library. Your AI can only use images that are on your site.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Upload Your Images to the Media Library

  1. Log in to your Oh My Hi site and go to your dashboard.
  2. Click Media Library.
  3. Upload any images you want to use on your About Me page.
  4. Click on each image and note its file name. You’ll see it near the top of the image details panel.

💡 Knowing the exact file name makes it easy to tell your AI which image to use. For example, an image named “Lisa with hourglass” is easy to reference in your prompt.

Step 2: Ask Your AI to Build Your Page

  1. Open a new chat in ChatGPT or Claude.
  2. Type a prompt like this, swapping in your own image name:

Can you build me an About Me page using the information you already know about me? If you have questions that will help create a better page, please ask them before proceeding. Please use the [your image name] image from the Media Library on this page.

  1. Press Enter.

Step 3: Allow Access to Your Site

  1. Your AI may ask for permission to use your Oh My Hi connection.
  2. Click Always allow.

💡 Choosing “Always allow” means you won’t have to approve each action every time you ask your AI to do something on your site.

Step 4: Answer Your AI’s Questions

  1. Your AI will ask a few questions to help create a better page, such as what to include or what to highlight.
  2. Answer each one. Short answers are fine. You can even say “write it from what you know.”
  3. If you already have an About page, your AI may notice it. You can ask it to leave your current page as is and build a separate draft instead.

💡 Building a separate draft is a great way to see what your AI creates without changing your live page.

Step 5: Review Your Draft Page

  1. Your AI will create a preview of your new page and give you a link.
  2. Click the link to open the preview and see how it looks.

✅ If you see your new About Me page with your image, your AI has successfully built a page on your site!

Step 6: Make Changes and Go Live

  1. Ask your AI to make any changes you’d like, such as changing words, adjusting the styling, or swapping an image.
  2. When you’re happy with it, ask your AI to replace your current About Me page with the new one so it goes live.
