Introduction
Selling a digital product like a PDF, video, or checklist? You can easily send it automatically after someone makes a purchase. This tutorial walks you through two ways to deliver your product — using a simple form setup or an automated email in the CRM if you’re on a Plus or Premium plan.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Create a Checkout Form
- In your Oh My Hi dashboard, go to Forms.
- Choose a Checkout Form template under the “Payments” section.
- Rename the form to match your product (e.g., 300 Club).
- Edit the product item name and price (e.g., set price to $10).
đź’ˇ Make sure Stripe is enabled in the payment field settings if you are collecting real payments.
Step 2: Upload Your Digital Product
- Go to Media in your dashboard.
- Drag and drop your PDF or other digital file to upload it.
- Click the file to copy its direct link.
📎 This link is what you’ll use in the confirmation email.
Step 3: Edit the Confirmation Email
đź’ˇDelivery via this method is required if on the Starter plan.
- Go back to your form and click Settings > Integrations > Email Notifications.
- Under Customer Notification, customize the message.
- Add your download link (e.g., “Download the 300 Club checklist now”) and hyperlink it to your uploaded file.
âś… You can also customize the subject and include receipt information using built-in merge codes.
Step 4 (Optional): Deliver With CRM Automation
đź’ˇDelivery via this method is recommended if on the a Plus or Premium plan.
- Go to CRM > Automations.
- Create a new automation (e.g., 300 Club Download).
- Set the trigger to “Form Submitted” and choose your checkout form.
- Add a step to Send Email, then include your product download link in the email body.
- Click Publish to activate the automation.
🧠Why use CRM? This method tracks the email in the customer’s contact record — great for support and follow-up!
Step 5: Test Your Checkout Flow
- Visit your published page with the form embedded.
- Fill it out and complete the payment in test mode.
- Check your inbox for the confirmation email with the download link.
🚀 It should link directly to your product!
