Sometimes you want certain pages on your website to be private. Maybe you’re sharing a course, a video, or team content that should only be seen by certain people. Oh My Hi makes it easy to create password-protected pages.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Create a New Page

  1. Go to your dashboard and click Add PagesAdd New Page.
  2. Choose a pattern or close the panel and click the blue plus to start your page.
  3. Give your page a name, like 123 Test.

Step 2: Set the Page as Password Protected

  1. In your page editor, find the Status section.
  2. Select Password Protected.
  3. Enter a password (e.g., test) and click Save Draft.

Step 3: Customize Your Page Message

  1. Refresh the page after enabling password protection.
  2. You’ll see a field to customize the message visitors see when they reach your page.
  3. Examples of what to include:
    • Instructions for course participants:
      "Please enter the password sent in your email."
    • Contact info if someone has trouble logging in.
    • A message to the user or links to your website.

Step 4: Add Content to Your Page

  1. Update your page as usual.
