Introduction
Learn how to set up an RSVP system for a scroll party by customizing a form template, updating key details, and setting required fields. This is a more advanced scroll party RSVP form that combines multiple events on one page.
Step-by-Step Tutorial: Creating an Advanced Scroll Party RSVP Form
Step 1: Create a New Form
- Click Create New Form.
- Choose a template—there is a pre-existing Scroll Party RSVP Form.
- Select the template to begin customization.
Step 2: Edit the Form Name
- Locate the form title section.
- Rename it to Scroll Party RSVP (or a name of your choice).
Step 3: Review & Edit Form Fields
- Review the existing form fields.
- If necessary, modify the question “Have you heard of [Company Name] before?”
- Keep or modify other fields as needed.
Step 4: Add a Dropdown Input Field for Host Selection
- Click Add New Input Field.
- Select Dropdown from the available options.
- Change the Element Label to “Who is your host?”.
- Add host names as options.
- Example: Kim, Diana
- If you have more hosts, continue adding their names – click the + to add more fields.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Step 5: Make Host Selection a Required Field
- Look for the Required option on the right-hand side.
- Click Yes to ensure users must select a host.
- An asterisk (*) will appear next to the field, indicating it is required.
Step 6: Customize the Submit Button
- Locate the submit button settings.
- Change the button text from “Submit” to “Let’s Party!”.
- Save the form.
Step 7: Configure Conditional Confirmations
- Go to Settings & Integrations.
- Select Conditional Confirmations.
- Add a confirmation for each host:
- Click Add Confirmation.
- Choose the host’s name (e.g., Kim).
- Select the corresponding Scroll Party Page.
- Ensure that the party pages are published so they appear in the dropdown list.
- Ensure Conditional Logic is enabled & update the send this notification fields. (e.g. first field select ‘Who is your Host?’, second field select ‘equal’, final field select the Hosts name)
- Repeat this process for each host.
Step 8: Configure Email Notifications
- Ensure email notifications are enabled (this is usually auto-enabled with the RSVP template).
Step 9: Create an RSVP Page
- If you don’t already have a Scroll Party RSVP page, create a new page.
- When creating a new page, the Scroll Party RSVP option may appear automatically.
- If not, go to the Pattern Library and search for “Scroll Party.”
- Locate the Fluent Form block and select your RSVP from from the settings on the right hand side.
Step 10: Monitor RSVP Submissions
- Keep email notifications enabled to receive real-time updates.
- Check the Entries section in your form-building platform to view submitted RSVPs.
- Use the collected data for follow-ups and personalized welcomes.
Now your RSVP form is ready to collect participant information and direct them to your Scroll Party! 🎉
