How to Create a Stripe Payment Link for Your Digital Product

Easily sell digital products on your Oh My Hi site with this step-by-step tutorial on setting up a Stripe payment link and redirecting to a thank-you page.

Step 1: Set Up Your Stripe Account

1. Go to Stripe.com and create a free account if you haven’t already.
2. Once inside your dashboard, head to the Products section.
3. Click Create product and fill out the details for your digital item (name, description, price, etc.).

🎯 Tip: Even if it’s a digital product, treat it like a physical one in Stripe — just don’t add shipping details.

Step 2: Create Your Payment Link

1. In your Stripe dashboard, go to Payments > Payment Links.
2. Click + Create payment link.
3. Choose the product you just created.
4. Under Collect customer information, select options like:
   • Collect billing address (recommended)
   • Require phone number
   • Choose all countries to allow global purchases

📌 You don’t have to ship anything, but having customer details can help if there are payment issues.

Step 3: Redirect Buyers to a Thank You Page

1. In the After payment section:
   • Choose Don’t show confirmation page
   • Paste the URL of your Oh My Hi Thank You page
2. This page is where your buyer will download their product.

🛑 Important: Don’t make your thank you page visible on your site navigation. Just be mindful that this link can still be found through Google, but at the moment, this is how you can automate the delivery of your digital product.

Step 4: Copy the Payment Link

1. After saving, Stripe will generate a unique URL.
2. Click Copy to grab your new payment link.

Step 5: Add the Link to Your Oh My Hi Sales Page

How to Create or Update a Landing Page/Sales Page Tutorial

1. Go to your Oh My Hi product or sales page.
2. Find your Get Instant Access button.
3. Paste your Stripe link into the button’s URL field.
4. Click Save.

Step 6: Test the Purchase Flow

1. Visit your sales page as a visitor.
2. Click the Get Instant Access button.
3. Confirm it leads to the Stripe payment page.
4. Complete a test purchase if possible to make sure it redirects correctly to your Thank You page.
