How to Create or Update a Landing Page/Sales Page

Introduction

Ready to sell a digital product, course, or event? With Oh My Hi, you can create a beautiful landing page in minutes using a built-in template. Here’s how!

Step 1: Create a New Page

  1. From your Oh My Hi dashboard, go to Pages
  2. Click + New Page
  3. You’ll see popular layout options. Look for the Digital Download Sales Page template
  4. Click to insert it into your new page

Step 2: Name Your Page for a Clear URL

  1. Add a short, memorable title like “Download” or “My Course”
  2. This title becomes your page link, like: yourdomain.com/download

💡 Keep it simple so it’s easy to share with your audience.

Step 3: Remove the Header and Footer

Landing pages are distraction-free zones. To keep the focus on your offer:

  1. On the right-hand settings panel, click Page
  2. Under Template, click Swap Templates
  3. Choose a layout labeled No Header or Footer

💡 If you don’t see the settings panel, click the settings icon near the Publish button.

Step 4: Customize the Template

The template includes editable placeholders and tips to guide you. Here’s what to update:

Text Sections

  • Replace [square bracketed] text with your own
  • Update the headline and description to describe your offer
  • Add pain points and how your product solves them

Feature Highlights

  • Add 3+ reasons your product is valuable
  • Make sure they match your audience’s needs

Testimonials

  • Add reviews from past customers (even 2–4 helps!)
  • Use real names and photos if you can

Step 5: Use Anchor Links (Don’t Remove Them!)

Anchor links help buyers jump to the payment section without scrolling.

  • The template buttons like Get Instant Access are already linked
  • Don’t change the link — just update the text on the button if you’d like

Step 6: Add Your Product Image

  1. Click on the sample image block
  2. Check the green label for the recommended image size (like 1400×300 px)
  3. Create a matching image in Canva or your favorite design tool
  4. Click Replace, upload your image, and you’re done!

Step 7: Explain the Purchase Process

At the bottom of the page, add a quick outline of what happens after someone buys:

  • Will they get a download link?
  • Access to a Zoom event?
  • An email confirmation?

Make it crystal clear and match the delivery method you’re using.

Step 8: Link a Payment Option

  1. Scroll to the final section where it says Get Instant Access
  2. Add a Stripe, PayPal, or other payment link

Step 9: Add a Few FAQs (Optional but Helpful!)

Answer 1–4 common questions your buyer might have. For example:

  • How do I get the download?
  • Can I access the content again later?
  • What happens after I pay?

This helps reduce hesitation and builds trust.

Step 10: Preview and Publish

  1. Click Preview to see your page in action
  2. Make sure there’s no header or footer, and all anchor links work
  3. Click Publish when you’re happy
