🛡️ Better Spam Protection on Your Forms
We turned on two new built-in spam filters (honeypot + token-based protection) to block automated junk submissions before they reach your inbox. You’ll notice fewer fake form entries and cleaner lead lists. We also reduced the IP-based spam protection to decrease the number of false positives. If you notice an uptick in spam submissions, let us know.
🧱 New Blocks You Can Add to Your Pages and Posts
The latest update added some handy new blocks you can use when building or editing your pages and posts:
- Accordion — Create expandable/collapsible sections. Perfect for FAQs, product details, or anywhere you want to keep a page tidy and let visitors click to reveal more. Drop it in and the sub-blocks (heading, panel, etc.) come with it — similar to how the List block works.
- Time to Read — Automatically shows visitors how long your post will take to read (e.g., “3 min read”). Great for setting reader expectations on blog posts.
You’ll find these in the block inserter — the + button in the editor.
⌨️ New Command Palette
You can now press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from anywhere in your admin area to instantly search for any page, post, or setting — no more clicking through menus. It’s a small thing, but once you use it you won’t go back!
📸 Easier Media Library Organization
You can now drag your media folders and files into the order you want, and renaming is smoother. Great for keeping your photos and documents organized your way.
✨ Small UI Polish
You’ll see small improvements in the post editor, media picker, and overall speed — especially when working with larger sites.
