I’m not techy. What do I have to know to launch?

We have made it as easy as possible for you! What you will need to do is gather images in the correct sizes. We give you Canva templates to make this easy. You’ll also need to write a little more about yourself, your biz and your products or services to personalize it to you. We have step-by-step tutorials to support you. And, are happy to answer any questions if you get stuck! We also have LIVE support sessions where you can ask questions and get support in real-time.

How long does it take to set up?

The hardest part for most people is finding the images you want to use and writing up the content for the website. After you have that ready to go, you can easily get your site up and running in a couple of hours!

What’s the difference between the plans?

The Starter Plan gives you all the essentials to build your website—unlimited pages, blog posts, and forms, plus live support and a dynamic page builder with pre-built pages and sections to help you create a beautiful site.

How much is it?

The Starter Plan is $29/month or $290/year. It’s perfect if you’re just getting started—just note it doesn’t include CRM or email marketing features.

Want us to build it for you? The Premium Plan is your Done-For-You option at $297/month or $2970/year, with a 3-month minimum commitment.

Do I need a domain name?

While we believe a custom domain is an important part of building your brand, you don’t need one to use Oh My Hi if you aren’t using the CRM. If you are using the CRM (on the Plus or Premium plan) you do need a custom domain to send email. When you sign up, we’ll assign you a numbered site (like 123.ohmyhi.com) so you can get started right away.

Do I need to worry about DNS records and updating them for email delivery?

You don’t need to worry about DNS records for email delivery when using Oh My Hi. We handle all of that for you, so your emails are set up to send reliably—no tech headaches required.

Can I use my own domain name (URL)?

Yup! If you already have your own domain name (like yourname.com) we’ll get it connected to your site for you. You can learn more about the domain connection process here.

Do I need to purchase separate hosting?

Nope! Hosting is included with your Oh My Hi website.

Can I make site updates on my tablet or phone?

You’ll want to make sure that you have a desktop or laptop computer since larger screen sizes make it easier to use the visual page builder. It is possible to use a tablet or phone in landscape mode, but it is much harder to make changes on smaller devices.

Can I add my code?

Oh My Hi is designed to be a no-code platform, so custom coding isn’t needed but you can add HTML blocks for embedding third party functionality if needed. We’ve built it to be super easy to use without needing any technical skills—but if there’s a specific feature you’re looking for, let us know and we’ll see how we can help!

Does Oh My Hi include a Privacy Policy?

Yes! Oh My Hi provides a template Privacy Policy page that you can review and update to suit your business. It’s ready to use and easy to edit whenever you need.

Can I add plugins?

Oh My Hi is designed to be super easy to use without needing any technical skills. For that reason, we include all necessary plugins and software behind the scenes to ensure your experience is smooth and stress-free. If you need custom functionality that is not currently supported in Oh My Hi, send us a message and we’d be happy to talk about a custom solution.

How much can I customize the website?

You have total flexibility to change the colors, text, links, images and layout. You can easily use the template website as-is, pull from the done-for-you pattern library of sections and complete pages or fully customize the look and feel of your website.

Who owns the website I create?

You own the content you put on your website (text content, graphics, emails, contacts, etc.), but we own the platform. If you choose to leave Oh My Hi, we can export your site content and provide it to you. Note that some custom functionality specific to our platform may no longer work when you move your site to another platform.

Can I connect my Instagram feed?

Yassss!! We love this feature. You can connect your Instagram feed so it displays your most recent posts in real time! So fun!

Can I sell things on the website?

Yes! Oh My Hi has an integration with Stripe that allows you to accept credit card payments through forms. You can learn more about payment functionality here. You also have the ability to add any external shopping links or use Stripe and PayPal payment links all in one place. Oh My Hi does not have shopping cart functionality built-in.

How does the links page work?

On many social platforms, you can only share one link in your bio. With the links page feature, you can centralize all your links in one spot. This is a great way to easily share quick links!

How will blogging help my business?

Blogging is a great way to share more information about you and your brand! You can highlight your favorite products, share your story and announce events or promotions. Each blog post will have a unique link so you can share that content via social media, text or email with your followers. The more content you create on the blog, the more likely you’ll begin ranking in search results. (Pssst… we love this the most! Unlike social media, when you share content online it gains visibility over time. On social media, it often only shows up for the first 24-48 hours then is “old news”!)

How do I use Oh My Hi to build my email list?

We’re big fans of building an email list over here, and now Oh My Hi makes it even easier! With our integrated email marketing included in the Plus & Premium Plans, you can create and embed email opt-in forms right on your site—no need for an external email service provider. When customers visit your website, they can add their name and email directly to your list, and you can manage it all from your Oh My Hi dashboard. Easy peasy!

What do I need to know about SEO?

Oh My Hi simplifies SEO by taking care of important technical tasks such as generating meta tags, managing sitemaps, and optimizing site speed. You don’t need any plugins or SEO expertise—just focus on writing for your audience, and Oh My Hi will handle the rest. Is Oh My Hi GDPR compliant?

Our form settings allow for adding checkboxes to get visitor consent to market and double opt-in emails.

However, because we are a U.S.-based platform and data is stored on U.S. servers, the platform as a whole is not fully GDPR compliant at this time. If your audience is primarily outside the EU, this usually isn’t an issue. If you are targeting or serving EU visitors and feel that you need to be fully GDPR compliant, send us a message and we can discuss options.
